Description
This here is Shimmer, she's an organoid of my own design. Being an Allosaurus type, she has some features that suggest this, such as the bony crests on her head and overall shape. I don't have art of her Ancient Zoidian partner, Serra, aside from something I made in an avatar creator to get an idea of her look, but she does in fact have an Ancient Zoidian partner.

Overall, Shimmer is a mild tempered zoid, somewhat aloof and enjoys having fun on her own or with her partner, Serra. To many, it may seem she's fine around people, but in reality this is because she has a strange ability to sense emotions and motive from humans, sensing whether or not they mean to harm her or those she loves. She isn't a mind reader though, so she can be fooled, but intent is a hard thing to hide, as its often something you try hard to hide to an obvious level if you are, in fact, hiding it.

I made this a while ago but waited to post it. I vaguely recall having a reason I wanted to wait, but for the life of me I can't remember, so here it is!

If you didn't know, I'm quite big into Zoids, especially the Chaotic Century era stuff in the anime. I just loved the wasteland feel of it. Probably the same reason I love Fallout.

As for the style I went with in this piece, the reason it looks the way it does is because I tried to emulate the look of the handheld Zoids games, like Zoids Legacy (which I loved and played the death out of as a kid, a huge reason for my Zoid love). I have a better drawing, but I don't have a scanner. The bad quality photo of the image inspired me to do it this way, and overall, I'm pleased with the result. It hides the mess while looking neat. Talk about making lemonade out of poorly done art...I mean lemons.
