Lies.....
Jesus loves everyone even if they had made sins and wrong doings. He is the only one you can reach to when you have no one and he is the one that saved us from sins and he is the one who forgives us when others will not.
If you don't believe in god, he still believe is YOU, you are his child.
And if you don't respect him for being your father.... he still loves you...
And if you don't like this image then.... please leave.... you didn't have to comment if you didn't like it...

Both the Savior of mankind and God the Eternal Father love every single one of us more than we can comprehend. In actuality, the Bible alone is replete with evidence of this, and to dispute that fact is akin to claiming the Bible is silent on homosexuality.Β
π: 0 β©: 1
assassinsrul3 In reply to GamziMakr [2013-09-07 17:41:30 +0000 UTC]
You're right. The Holy Bible isn't silent on homosexuality. It says in Leviticus that all homosexuals must be put to death. So tell me again how God loves each and every one of us.

GamziMakr In reply to assassinsrul3 [2013-09-07 20:54:31 +0000 UTC]
"It says in Leviticus that all homosexuals must be put to death."
That is incorrect. If you're going to say the Bible says something, you need to A., quote it and B., actually understand what is being said, and C., understand the time period and who it is being said to.Β
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their bloodΒ shall beΒ upon them"(Leviticus 20:13).
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination"(Leviticus 18:22).
Here it is clearly stated that if someone has "gay sex", then it is an abomination. It does not say having sex attraction is bad. It doesn't even mention same sex attraction. It merely yet resolutely states that sexual relations between two members of the same sex is wrong. Now here's the catch: it follows up with the punishment for that time period. IF you understand the Bible, then you'll understand why it's the punishment then, but not now. It isn't even addressing all of mankind. Leviticus is being address to the children of Israel. It says nowhere in Leviticus that killing someone for homosexual relations will be the exact punishment for time and all eternity. If you actually read the Bible, the Old Testament constantly talks about how the Law of Moses (which is being stated here in Leviticus) will be "fulfilled in Christ". Meaning, the old law will be done away with, replaced with "love one another". Now it may seem difficult to comprehend, but if you're a moral relativist you simply must understand that different cultures are very different from each other, especially when the cultures you are comparing are separated by thousands of years.Β
You've probably never had someone refute you like this so cogently. I would be very impressed if you had the maturity to admit you were wrong in your assumption on this matter. Or you could just be another puerile little brat, put up a strawman and ad hominem and then block me. Your choice.Β

I'm not an immature twat with no sense of respect for himself or anyone else like you usually find on the Internet. I will admit that you are right, if only because of that nit-picky little distinction between all homosexuals and any man who has relations with another man. Because, in the end, that makes all the difference, doesn't it. It's still a horrible idea to pitch to any old moron who clutches a Bible as if it were their child.
If you'd like to discuss anything else, I'll be here every once in a while.

I'm a nit-picker in general, but to a Mormon it is all the difference in the world. Well, maybe that's overstating it. I dunno.Β
Sure thing. For the most part, I can discuss almost any subject without getting caustic and bitter, except the 2012 American Election. XD

Why? Romney stood for nothing. The only thing that determined his point of view was who had the most power he could leech off of. I'm not saying I know whether Obama is doing a better job than Romney would have done, but I am highly skeptical towards the GOP (and the Democrats, they're two sides of the same greedy coin). Conservatism doesn't sit right with me.

GamziMakr In reply to assassinsrul3 [2013-09-13 21:52:51 +0000 UTC]
What evidence do you have to back that claim up? He clearly stood for conservative values, did he not?Β
In simple, Romney was the guy who knew how to fix the economy. Obama was the guy that tried to fix it, but end up making it worse.Β
I don't like Congress. I don't like politicians in general. Romney is one of the few respectable ones.Β

(I haven't been on dA in a few months. Felt like replying to a few old messages for the hell of it. Sorry for the extreme delay.)
While he was the governor of Massachusetts a majority of his legislation was quite liberal, he only became a conservative when the GOP started paying him to be. Aside from that, he is known for flip-flopping on issues as often as he draws breath. Put these two things together and it paints a picture of a man who only stands for what will get him the most power the quickest.
Romney had no idea how to fix the economy. He had simple notions thrown at him by his sponsors that would never have panned out in the real world.
I despise Congress, politicians, and essentially everyone in control of this country. Romney is no exception, and the fact that he doesn't stand for anything makes him less respectable than the people who stand for horrible things.

I like how when liberals like Obama change their political views they "evolve", but when conservatives change their political views they "flip flop". You know, there is a slight chance that, you know, Romney just legitimately had a paradigm shift. Just because people are older doesn't mean they can't have 'em. Β
Everything you said was spot on except for pretty much all of it. Romney is Mr. Fix-It. Do I really need to explain this to you?Β
He stands for many things. Look, I'm almost as cynical as you when it comes to politicians, but do you think you could just stop for a moment and consider the possibility that he ISN'T just like every other politician?Β
π: 0 β©: 1
assassinsrul3 In reply to GamziMakr [2013-12-18 04:18:07 +0000 UTC]
I have stopped to think about that possibility, and it's almost as bad as if he were as I described him.Β
Romney was Mr. Fix-It when he was more liberal. Since he was added to the vast array of politicians who are in the GOP's pocket, he's become more of a megaphone for the people who write his checks, so to speak.
And I don't like Obama. He was just the lesser of two evils.Β
π: 0 β©: 1
GamziMakr In reply to assassinsrul3 [2013-12-31 01:17:18 +0000 UTC]
Why's that? Are people not allowed to have paradigm shifts anymore?Β
It's kinda hard to portray Romney as someone who doesn't care about poor people.Β
I'm sick of hearing that phrase.Β
