Description
An acrylic rendering of a cup of cappuccino next to a tube of paint. This 5x7 card was an exercise in expressionistic painting (which there is no DeviantArt category for, sadly...)

To make it, I first made a sketching, using a photograph I had taken of the subject as a reference. Then I took that sketching and made a photo copy of it. I then cut up the copy and arranged the pieces on my counter, tracing the lines on the paper and the edges of the pieces. And finally, I lightly transfered that tracing onto the media and painted it with acrylics.

I'm really inexperienced with acrylics, so any comments or suggestions would be great!
