Exploring caves filled with glowing mushrooms and potential dangers. Inspired by the game Rimworld.
It's not an easy game to explain but here's the gist: It's a colony simulator with very simple graphics but lots of behind-the-scenes game mechanics going on. Apparently it's very similar to the game Dwarf Fortress, which I've never played.
Like I said, simple graphics but very deep gameplay. If that sounds interesting to you, my advice is to try it. I hated it for the first hour but pushed thru and now I've logged quite literally thousands of hours in that game. And adding mods into the mix expands it exponentially.
If you check out some of the reviews on Steam, people will post some of the stories from their colonies. When you see the cartoony graphics but read about deep inter-colonist relationships and harrowing tales of survival (and more often times, death) you might be confused. However, after a few hours it all becomes clear. Be warned: If you value your free time, don't play this game.
