Thank you, The original inspiration image was so powerful emotionally that it hits so close to the heart of anyone who has had a pet. I couldn't resist trying a version in 3D

I did a 3D, sci-fi version of “the Horror of Wat” but it didn’t get much attention.

Very beautiful, if sad, details on the cloth and the hair are well done, not to mention the pose and expression.

Im one of those people who can accept the death of a human no problem but an animal stops me in my tracks, I suppose it's because humans have people to mourn them openly.
Weird thing is I have developmental prosopagnosia which is basically I cant recognise faces but I can recognise animals faces so maybe that's why I am more likely to feel a greater emotion when an animal dies because I can picture them. I remember walking down the road and a guy with a small black dog was walking on the other side of the road and I said to my friend oh look there's George and she said good you recognised him but in fact I recognised Judy his dog and took a guess it was george walking her. hahahaha

but how have you got it to look trapped under the table and pulled tight? I'd have imagined it would just look like you dropped the cloth on top. Yours is like sheets tucked under a mattress.

It is just the way the simulation worked out. I just used the default settings. I did play their positions by running a few simulations until they laid on the coffin in a pleasant way
