i use it like a second Content library for poses, so i can switch more quickly between folders, you can set a date order also so you can have on hand your last saved contents

I guess it's a matter of tastes!
I mostly do stories, so let's imagine my tipical workflow: I prepare an environment, I load the characters, now I have to pose and to dress them. It's much faster to select them and find what's appropriate for the situation, I could never recall how many shirts I have etc.!
Then I have the search filters saved for situations where I look for a specific product, like lights.
