Description
The Gorgon is the species Medusa was transformed into. She would keep some of her human features up until a victim would enter her lair. However the Gorgon species, is made up of many other variants, some fully Snake-like, some with more Human features, and many in-between. Despite the variety of Human to Snake like features, the one thing they all have in common, is the ability to turn its prey into stone. The intense Gaze of a Gorgon can turn any being to stone, as well as the slight sight of seeing one yourself. As a Mortal, if you are in the presence of a Gorgon, you are already Doomed.
