Description
Ermac was created by Shao Kahn so very long ago. A general in his army, and fueled by the discarded souls of dead warriors given to his by his Former Emperor, Ermac was loyal to Shao Kahn. However in the years since Shao Kahn's Death, Ermac was locked and hidden away deep within a prison in Shao Kahn's Ruined Fortress.

The Blind Swordsman Kenshi was able to locate the amalgamation of souls that made up Ermac's body and instead of slaying the creature, Kenshi took pity before his sword cast its power over the being of souls. Ermac was freed from his confinement and found he had control to make his own choices.

Ermac joins kenshi as they are about to head towards Shang Tsung's Fortress however before they can enter EarthRealm, the Sprit of Liu Kang appears before them. Liu Kang warns the new allies that everyone who fought the Deadly Alliance had been defeated and taken under control by a new threat. The Dragon King Onaga had returned from the dead.

Ermac now heads into the fight with the purpose of freeing Liu Kang's allies from their mind control, however Ermac cant help but feel the essence of a greater threat.
