Description
Reptile's journey saw him as nothing more than a tool, an ends to a means. Willing to serve anyone who paid well, He was decieved by Nitara to venture into a Cave containing a magical artifact, to steal. It was surprising to even Nitara herself that what awaited in the cave, contained much more than any mortal could have imagined.

The Cave was a Nest containing a mysterious Dragon Egg, and it was just at that moment that Reptile stood in its presence that a beam of energy erupted and shot itself into the Saurian's body. Unknown to him, the trigger for this event was set off elsewhere, the Energy twisted Reptile's body and allowed for the Dragon King, Onaga, to return to life using the lizard-beings body as its Vessal.

Reptile would awaken some time later, in the Dragon Kings Throne Room, unaware of the events since the Beam of Energy shot at him. Several warriors he recognized from past conflicts stood around celebrating. The Saurian was confused to say the least, but instincts took over, and he vanished from sight and made his way away from the Throne room, back into the wastelands of Outworld.

Reptile made his way back to Shao kahn's Temple, finding it to familiar, the long abandoned stronghold contained the presence of several of his Old Masters.
