Description
After a long battle, the Emperor of Outworld attempts to open a Portal to retreat from the Heroes of EarthRealm. However, as the Portal opens Shao Kahn is blasted through by Raiden's Lightning and becomes unstable.

The Portal collapses and Shao Kahn has seemingly gotten away, however unknown to the Heroes, the reality of what has occured would unravel the fabric of their Universe.

In another reality, a Tyrant known as Dark Seid was blasted through a portal of his own at the same exact moment as Kahn, causing the Portals to somehow ripple through their respective dimensions, intercept and merge together. This causes the Tyrants from both Universes to become one single entity known as Dark kahn.

With the universes now connected, they both begin to merge into one another which causes a select few from the Mortal Kombat Universe to encounter a select few from the DC Universe. Its all out War between Worlds.
