Description
Since aligning with the Brotherhood of Darkness and suffering defeat when Shinnok's invasion fails, Reiko returns to the Shadows awaiting his next opportunity. Fond of Shao Kahn's aestetic and memorabilia, Reiko attempts to Loot what is left of the abandoned Fortress of Shao kahn.

What he discovers is Shao Kahn, Alive and Well. Pledging loyalty to the Fallen Emperor, Reiko is enlisted to Kahn's army and made a General. Shao Kahn's power in Outworld is soon restored when he is visited by Quan Chi, another who was thought to be killed during Onaga's raid on Shang tsung's Temple. The wicked Sorcerer had escaped, and returned to his master Shinnok in the NetherRealm, where a new plan was forged.

A pyramid is expected to emerge in Edenia, and atop it awaits a power that will make and unmake the future of the Realms. The only thing that need be done is to go to War against the forces of Light.

Reiko is enlisted to watch outside of Shao kahn's throne to prevent anyone who may attempt to disturb a meeting between the various Masterminds that leads the Forces of Darkness.
