HISTORY
Galloping Gertie once had a set of wings that were amputated because of the injuries sustained on a violently swaying bridge.
He also lost his sense of balance, so he's wobbly on his hooves.
He was given a harness and a bunch of balloons that were enchanted to not pop from sharp things( like his horn) or deflate and lose lift.
One day, he went to a garden party with several hundred balloons.
After the party was over and and everyone took a few balloons, a couple hundred balloons remained and he had them tied to his harness.
As he floated away, he discovered that he loved floating and that he should find some way( like a wind spell) to control his balloons.
During a school project related to engineering, he discovered a talent in engineering and got his cutie mark.
