In an alternative universe, Joey doesn't exist. So it's just Kit. And Kit is like the main character of this alterative Knikings universe, and she becomes Ruth's girlfriend instead of Joey. And so just like with Joey, Ruth falls deeply in love with Kit. And given how Kit's personality isn't any different, she immediately falls in love with Ruth so hard. And they love each other very very much, and so they both get clingy on each other.

Ok so basically this is a really crazy fantasy.
