But that had not only released the nanobots, but they were airborne. The lab had gone into lockdown immediately. While John tried to assess the situation, he realized he didn’t even know everything he was now exposed to.

It hadn’t taken long before the first changes started to be visible. John knew he was infected and could feel something happening when he lost consciousness. He awoke, he was shocked to find his body had morphed into a petite woman. The resources pulled from his body to supply the energy for the transformation had left him much smaller. Now barely 5’, female, quite a bit younger and with amble… assets, John knew he needed to get to work fast.

As John worked to shut down all the bots in the lab, because he didn’t know the make up of the other bots, it had taken multiple attempts. Watching as her body continued to change, taking on mechanical elements. By the time, John was confident the lab was safe she estimated at least a third of her body was robotic.

Turning to the rescue team, an uncertain future filled John’s mind. She had been working on a way to reverse the changes, but it had become increasingly obvious that there was no going back.
