"Mr Sterling said I should ask you to book me in for a meeting dis time next week," Seamus says as he stands in front of the secretary's desk after exiting from Graham Sterling's office .

"Of course!" Tilly responds. She opens a desk drawer, pulls out a day-planner, and riffles through the pages until she finds the appropriate page. "So... it's Mr Byron at twelve o'clock," she says as she writes Seamus's name in the relevant place. She puts the book back in the drawer and takes a business card out. She flips it over and writes the appointment details on the back and hands it to Seamus, who takes it with a "Tanks, love".

Tilly smiles at Seamus in a professional manner. "If your situation changes and you need things moving forward sooner, give us a call on the number on the card, even out of office hours, okay?" She nods briefly at the card now in Seamus's hand, which Seamus lifts up and studies the text on its front face.

"Sure, dat's great, love. I'll remember to do so," he says, adding: "I hope I don't have to, dough."

"Sterling will sort this out for you, I am sure," Tilly says, but Seamus is not sure if she is being genuine in her statement or merely continuing the professional demeanour she adopts for all matters relating to the business. "But do remember: Call the police if anything requires it. Please don't disregard summoning their help just because we're working with you." She pauses for a beat and then continues: "You look like a sensible man who cares about his daughter and knows what's what, but we do get some clients who think once we've taken on their case then we become their first point of contact for emergency situations. I have to tell everyone now so don't take it personally."

Seamus shakes his head slightly and smiles wryly. "I understand," he says. "Well... I'll be seein' you next week, den?"

Tilly sits up straighter and puts her professional smile on again. "Yes, I'll be here. Well, it's been nice meeting you, Mr Byron, and I hope to see you next week, same time, same place. Take care!"

Seamus returns an expression to acknowledge the conversation is at an end and turns towards the door leading out of Veritas Investigation's offices. He makes his way outside and heads back to where his car is parked, replaying the meeting in his head to ensure he did not miss out anything important. With so little actual information known about Felicity's potential stalker, every detail is important and will assist the private detective in deciding what the next move ought to be in resolving the matter.
