You weren't quite sure where it came from, but Jumanji seemed like a harmless video game, something that might distract you for a few minutes before you got bored and found something else to do. But as soon as you hit start, you discovered it was much more than that. You found yourself transported to a strange jungle with no idea how to get out. And in someone else's body.A display appeared after you tapped your chest, calling you Jake Davenport, Master Mesmerist. You were the character you chose in the game. Your listed strengths include charm, seduction, and hypnotism. Your weakness is combat. "Great", you think to yourself. "Trapped in a video game and my weakness is fighting. How lame is this?"
That's when you saw her walking toward you. A gorgeous redhead in an impractical, but eye-catching, outfit. Maybe this game wasn't so bad after all...

She talks without looking back. "Uh.. right. I'm sorry. Won't happen again." Her pace slows back to how it was before.

"I... I already told you. I'm not upset!" She blushes and looks away from you, desperate for you not to find out that's she's falling for you. Of course, she doesn't realize that it's just your charm powers at work.Β

"Then if you aren't upset, then why won't you tell me why you're acting this way?" He tried to make her face him again, gently moving her face back to his, pleased his powers seemed to be working. "Please, Ruby? I'd tell you anything..."

She approaches me with a suspicious look in her eyes. I decide I'll just go with the charm offensive for now.
I get into a confident stance and say, 'Why hello there, Jake Davenport's the name. You can trust me when I say I'm of little threat, my fighting prowess is ranked rather lowly.' I smirk, 'You on the other hand look like Miss Kickass.'

Ruby blushes at your compliment. "Why thank you! I'm glad to meet another person out here. I'm sure that, together, we'll be able to find a way out. It looks like in here I'm called Ruby Roundhouse. It's nice to meet you."

I extend my hand awaiting yours, 'The pleasure is all mine Ruby. Together I think will make a rather formidable duo.'

She takes your hand, happy to not be alone in this scary place. She smiles at you. "I think you're right. Now which way do you think we should go?"

Only playing this game on a whim I'm rather unfamiliar with these surroundings. I decide I'd rather her take the lead, let her think she is in charge for now.
'You seemed pretty confident in approaching me. I trust your instincts are better than mine, I'd feel much better following your lead.'

Ruby's pleased that you seem to have deferred to her. "Well then let's head in that direction. I think I saw a clearing up ahead earlier." She points to your left and starts walking.

We make our way through the dense jungle, hoping to find that clearing. 'So I assume you are trapped in this game just like I am.'

"Yeah. I was bored and saw this video game, just lying there. I wasn't sure where it came from, but I decided to give it a try. The next thing I know, I'm here, in this ridiculous outfit." She motions to her bare midriff.

'Same here, I actually felt compelled to play it. I'd be happy if I were you, I'd much rather be in a sexy, half-dressed outfit rather than in these stupid robes. The humidity just makes it that much worse.' I wipe off some sweat from my head.

Ruby nods. "Yeah. Yeah, I can see that." She's usually nervous around strangers, but she feels oddly comfortable around you. "Is there anything underneath the robes? Maybe you can take them off."

'Just a tiny speedo. I'd strip down to it, but I don't need to distract you with my sexy body.'

Ruby laughs. "Yeah, I don't think either of us need that." She continues to walk, getting ahead of you and giving you a good view of her rear.

I'm not positive whether I have some kind of influence over Ruby's mind, if she is just naturally attracted to me, or some kind of combination of both but regardless she is rather comfortable around me. She stays in the lead position letting me continue to have a great view of that perfect little ass, and if that wasn't enough of a sign she stops for a 'stretch break' and bends over to touch her toes as she slightly sways her ass.
As she is doing her stretches I ask her, 'So, do you feel like you look similar to your character in this game?'

Ruby stops her stretches and blushes, embarrassed. "I... I'm shorter than Ruby. And not in this kind of shape." She stares at Ruby's toned midriff.
"How about you? Do you look like your character?" Her voice sounds hopeful.

'I'm sure your still as cute as her, nobody could realistically keep in that kind of shape anyway unless they were a Hollywood actress. Me? I wouldn't say there is that great of a difference, I think I'm slightly taller in real life and unfortunaeltly I can't grow a beard as sick as this one.' We stare at each other for a minute or two, get into some idle chitchat and then finally continue on our way.

Your answer seems to please Ruby. You continue on, chatting jovially, until you come to the clearing Ruby spotted. In the distance, you see a large shack guarded to two strong looking men. Ruby turns to you. "Those guys look mean. What do you think? Is it worth risking seeing what's inside that place?"

'If I'm able to distract them do you think you can give the finishing blow?' They look like a couple of bumbling brutes, I'm sure they won't be difficult to distract.

"Maybe. My special skills are all different kinds of martial arts. Hey! I just realized we never talked about your character's skills. Do you know what they are?"

Well fuck. Iβm hesitant to reveal my powers of seduction and hypnosis, she might think I messed with her head. Right before she stumbled upon me though I picked up some med packs so I decide to improvise. βIβm a medic, along with having a high level of charm and slight psychic powers that allow me to stun opponents. So you can kick ass. Any other powers of your own?β

"No, looks like I'm just a fighter. But a medic? I'm sure that will come in handy. I can't wait to see those psychic powers in action. And charm? I hope you haven't been using any of that on me!" She laughs. She's totally at ease with you, totally trusting of this stranger that she's just met, totally charmed.

βItβs just a natural charisma I think. Iβm sure you could tell if I wanted to charm your pants off.β I say with a laugh. I havenβt used my other powers on her, not consciously at least. But back to the pressing matter.
βSo I think you should present yourself to them and when they approach Iβll use my stunning spell.β

"Present myself? You've been watching too many nature programs." She laughs as she walks out from her hiding place and catches the eyes of the two guard. "Hello, boys"Β

This chick is awesome, I swear if we make it out of this Iβll ask her out on a date.
One of the grunts mutters to her presence and not much else. That is when I hit them with a seduction spell, suddenly their thoughts are consumed on Ruby. They drop their weapons, let their guards down, and slowly approach the girl.

As the guards get closer, Ruby leaps into the air and takes one of the guards out with a flying kick. Landing on her feet, she stuns the second guard with a punch to the gut, then finishes him off with an uppercut. They lay next to each other, unconscious. Ruby stares at her hands in amazement. She had no idea she was capable of this. "Whoa! That was awesome!"

'Remind me not to cross you.' Definetly wouldn't want to take a roundhouse after telling Ruby that I may have been subtly sculpting her mind.
We approach the shallow cave that the two oafs were guarding. 'Wonder what it could be?'

"Let's find out" Flush with confidence after taking out those men, Ruby eagerly steps into the cave. "Coming?"

'Watch it! You might hit me with those huge, swinging balls you just grew.' I follow her into the black void of the cave. I pull out a flashlight, I turn it on and scan the surrounding area. 'You see anything?'

Ruby's laughter echoes through the cave. She seems to be finding all of your jokes hilarious. "Look! Over there!" You point your flashlight where she indicates, and see a fleet of jeeps and trucks, all with the key in the ignition.

'Fucking sweet! Let's see take a jeep.' As we approach it a snake lunges towards Ruby. 'Watch out!'

Remembering that her listed weakness is venom, Ruby slowly backs away. "What should we do?"

'Ruby Wait!' She backs up into another snake that hits her leg. 'Godammit!' I crush the snake that hit her, and take out the initial one. 'Oh shit! Oh shit! Ruby, what do I do?'

Ruby drops to the floor, dying. "It's okay Jake. I know you... did your best." You watch as she fades away.
Seconds later, you hear a thud from outside the cave and see Ruby walk toward you from the entrance. "Hi Jake!" She beams. "It looks like we have extra lives in this game."

I sigh in relief, thankful I that she is still alive and thankful that I didn't have to improvise being a medic.Β
'Don't scare me like that Ruby, I don't think I could make it through this game without you. Now let's watch out for snakes and let's take this keep to wherever the hell we're going.'

After her experience with the snake, Ruby's confidence is gone. She nervously wraps an arm around you, her eyes constantly watching the snakes. "Don't let them bite me again Jake"

I like that she's holding my arm for comfort, but her lack of confidence concerns me. I hate to do this but my hypnotic powers might be of use here. I place my hand on her head to let my influence spread throughout there.
'Ruby, no snake is going to hurt you again. You are the strongest, bravest, and most kickass girl I have ever met and I want you to continue to be that. We have to protect each other Ruby because we share such a deep bond.' I shouldn't have the said that last part, but I'm curious to see the extent of my powers.

As you take your hand off her head, Ruby blinks, like she's coming out of a deep trance. You can see the confidence return to her face. She looks at the snakes and leaps into the air, landing on both of their heads with her boots, killing them. Without missing a beat, she rushes to the nearest jeep and hops into the driver's seat. Then she looks at you expectantly. "Well? What are you waiting for? Let's go!"

There's the girl I know, I hop into the passenger side and off we go. As she drives we share some words here and there but I remain relatively quiet. I'm too consumed by the extent of my powers and by how I just brainwashed Ruby back into her confident self. If I could make her do that what else could I make her, or anybody else do. I could make her act like a dog, cut her intelligence in half, or even make her blow me right....no. I can't give into my temptations.Β

Ruby keeps driving until you see a building up ahead. There's no telling what's inside, but there are a dozen stationed at different points surrounding the place. Ruby takes a moment to look it over from the end of the road, where you're well hidden. Even though there are a lot more guards than before, her confidence never wavers. "What do you think? We can take this place, just like before, right?"

After we run over the next set of guards we see a woman who seems to be holding a wand. As Ruby revs the jeep, preparing to hit her, the woman mouths a spell and flicks her wrist.
'Ruby, we need to bail!' I push Ruby out of the jeep but don't get out in enough time before it explodes.

"NOOOOOO!!" Ruby watches in horror as the jeep explodes. She charges at the woman, desperate for revenge.

I instantly pop back into existence, minus one of my lives, and see Ruby's desperate charge. This won't be pretty.
The woman, a fairly beautiful one I might point out, points her wand at Ruby and says another spell.

Ruby manages to dodge the energy coming from the woman's wand, but it hits the ground near Ruby, causing a small explosion and throwing Ruby to the ground.
