Description
This was the thought that ran through my head when my roommate let me at the leftover pizza that nobody wanted.Anyhow, it's been a while since I publicly indulged in some vanity, so here is yet another deviant ID. That's my mother on the left, unsure of what to make of the situation. And that's me on the right, running with a bowl of soup and (I don't know why, but) a fork.
I was trying to go for a scanned manga look with this. I must say, it's quite difficult.
Originally it was going to be Simon Belmont instead of my mom, but it didn't quite make sense.

Pfft, there's a perfectly reasonable explination for the fork: you've got thick noodles and big 'ole chunks of veggies and chicken (or what have you) that you're gonna eat first, then drain the soup after. Mmm, I wish I had some soup...

I think the scanned manga look is pretty well done. Probably need to make your lineart look less smooth and more... traditional-looking.

I've tried doing scanned-manga things too: I've found that it's easier to do the actual page. Which is practically impossible anyway XD
