Well, seeing as this new Chinese year is my year , I suppose I should at least do something mouse related.I admit I was also tempted to have a mouse with blue teeth and a laser gun running through the background, but that would have crowded the picture.
Maybe in another dozen years.
EDIT: A number of you are attempting to correct me by saying it's the "Year of the Rat" and not the "Year of the Mouse." But technically, "ιΌ εΉ΄" ought to translate to "Year of the Rodent," as there is no distinction between rats and mice in Chinese. In this context, one can use rat and mouse interchangeably.

Ah yes, reminds me of a little incident some years back when balled mice were still in common use. There was a common work computer used by several different people to get access to the public internet (it was a secure environment and only one computer was available for such access for research and such). A co-worker was using the mouse and looked at all the little black gummy things on the desk were the mouse was. Idly, he asked
"What are those?"
I happened to be there and simply quipped
"Mouse droppings."

Well i think the artist is trying to compare the animal the mouse to a computer mouse and he's trying to say that the computer mouse had to get a different piece of something cause maybe the other one broke, so the other computer mouse is mocking the other mouse about how he got something new when the other little mouse doesn't really enjoy that

Take it like this. Let's say you go to a public park, a group of people gather around a famous person. One person asks "Can I have your autograph!?" Then someone (not the famous guy) says "No, I don't give autographs."

Yes, you're right about Shu3 (DAMNIT THIRD PARTY PINYIN INPUTER) being mouse and rat (I'm half Chinese) and what an adorable little thing! I remember a time when I always played with the mousie ball and my mousie stopped working. Fun times, back in like what, 2004? Probably. :3
