Irene Bridger, who does the voice of Marian Brown in the "Marian the Librarian" story arc in Viva Las Vegas. Irene Bridger was born on December 4, 1987, in Hawthorne, California. Irene never met her biological father. At the time she was conceived, he was 34, while her birth mother was only 15, and not exactly a willing participant. Although she was a product of rape, her birth mother never once thought about aborting her, while although being pro choice, her birth mother felt her unborn child shouldn't be punished for her father's crime. As for her biological father, he was given 25 years in the state penitentiary, where he ended up being stabbed with a makeshift dagger by a fellow inmate, due to the fact he was incarcerated for raping an underage girl. When Irene was born, she was adopted by her birth mother's older brother and his wife, who, after losing both ovaries to ovarian cancer at 17, was unable to bear children. Irene grew up thinking of her birth mother as her aunt, only learning the truth when she was 17. Irene got into voice acting while still in high school, she was part of a club that produced radio dramas. She had also been involved in the drama department at her school, and she learned that voiceover work for radio or animation was different than acting on stage or screen. She began her career as a professional voiceover actress when she was 21, and says that Viva Las Vegas was her favorite project to work on, for several reasons. One, there's the fact she and Rick Healy were recorded having sex for the sex scenes. There's also the fact her character, Marian Brown, was partially modeled after her. She also likes the fact producers allow voice actors to ad-lib on occasion. Another thing she likes about voiceover work in general is the fact that except for public appearances, she doesn't have to worry about makeup or wardrobe.
