I did noooot mean for Aqua's dress to look a lot like Rapunzel's. lol I was just aiming for a fantasy style dress, but couldn't think of anything that didn't look like something she wouldn't wear, so I guess I leaned on a 1200s medieval style, but tried to make it look not medieval, and somehow wound up with this. And it still looks pretty medieval, haha.
Eraqus' outfit is themed on our formal meshmod of him; so maybe this is an early scene from one of our royal-themed AUs where he dresses like that? Who can say. I was half thinking of a medieval story I just came up with as I drew this, but wasn't particularly trying to make the picture match it. Now Aqua's wearing purple, which can only be worn by royals in this sort of setting, which indicates she's a princess in this scene, but she's not one in that recent story idea.
Long story short: she's a small princess here, Eraqus is her dad, and I'm not sure I know where this story fits in. lol
