Description

So I took some of the ToZ party and randomized them jobs from the Final Fantasy and Bravely game series, so I'm in the process of designing the characters costumes based on the jobs. lol I rolled four for Rose, plus added two of my choosing. I wasn't originally going to do chibi, but this is much quicker to put out than full drawings.

Parivir

A job exclusive to the Final Fantasy Tactics series. It's basically based on a ronin, which was a samurai-for-hire. Since that's pretty much a mercenary, I themed Rose's appearance on her 12-year-old-ish look from the manga, back when she was in the mercenary band, the Windriders. Her outfit is pretty standard Japanese attire; a komon kimono, which is a casual kimono, worn over a juban, complete with a hakama. While she's wearing it under the chest, which is the girl style, the hakama itself is based on a man's; a masculine shade of green with stripe patterns. I wanted the detail that she received it secondhand from one of the men in her group. lol

Summoner

I based her design off of Refia's summoner outfit in Final Fantasy III DS, but made it a little sportier. I've drawn this so many times. :/

Assassin

Not one of the jobs I rolled for her, but it serves as a redesign of the assassin job I did for her before. The other one was way too bland, so for this one I tried to give it a Yoshitaka Amano feel, mostly by taking inspiration from Shadow of Final Fantasy VI. (The original assassin job) While they look mediocre, the designs on her outfit are bird wings.

Time Mage

This honestly doesn't look like the FF time mages. lol It wasn't a very inspiring look, so I was encouraged to do my own thing; I had a lot of fun with the copper accessories. The totally-impractical-knife is themed on a clock hand, perhaps she spins it while she casts? This is probably my favorite of all the redesigns.

Cannoneer

I'll admit that I really faked my way with this one. I was struggling with the look and took inspiration from military lolita, though it's not exactly based on the fashion. It's too bad that I didn't take the time to give her a handcannon. lol

Dancer

The second bonus job I included, which was pretty fun to do. I love the dance battle outfits in Tales of Asteria and really wanted to make Rose one. lol It's hard to tell at this angle, but she's wearing harem pants which is why they're so boho.
