While in Zalost Castle Amber sneaks her way to into his room to see what he hides from everyone.
When she enters she sees a large book filled with masks that Zalost had created that he could summon from the pages, knowing that the mask where a way to remind him of this horrible past, she grabs the book and using a candle burns the book to ash unaware someone is watching her do so.
