What if DC made a new animated show taking place on Earth 2? Here's how I would do it: Five years ago, this world was like many we've seen before, as the heroic trinity comprised by Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman protected the Earth from all sorts of threats. This changed when Steppenwolf invaded with an army of Parademons and claim it on the name of Darkseid, leading to the sacrifice of the aforementioned trinity to stop the invasion.

As the world rebuilt and moarned the loss of their heroes (As well many other casualities), new protectors of order began to appear and formed the team known as ''Wonders of the World''. This group of heroes was comprised by such as Batman II (Dick Grayson), Flash (Jason Garrick), Green Lantern (Alan Scott), Power Girl (Kara Zor-El), Huntress (Helena Wayne), Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders), Doctor Fate (Khalid Ben-Hassin) and Red Tornado (Duplicate of Lois Lane's mind). In their first official mission, they would find a very interesting person, Val-Zod, another Kryptonian that had been living on Earth in secrecy and never developed his solar-based powers.

What future awaits a world without their heroic trinity? Can these new heroes do better than their predecessors?

Extra: In this continuity, it's eventually revealed that Kryptonians were actually related to humans. Millennia ago, the alien scientist named Bertron used a prehistoric Krypton as his test facilities, having the goal of creating the perfect being, to which he'll transfer his mind into and become both the smartest and strongest creature. Unfortunately, that perfect being became ''Doomsday'' and was a complete failure, killing Bertron before leaving Krypton to terrorize the universe and exterminate all life. However, Bertron had a backup plan and his machines created a clone, ''Bertron II'', who continue the original's experiments and decided to send drones across the galaxy, obtaining genetic material from unknown worlds. Years later, some of Bertron's drones returned and one of them had visited a little planet known as ''Earth'', collecting DNA from the most advanced species, Humans. Shockingly, human DNA had untapped potential and with the right modifications, it could create extremely powerful beings and Bertron ended up creating the first kryptonians out of that genetic sample.

As time went by, the kryptonians grew in numbers and power as they learned to metabolize solar energy with their bodies, becoming even stronger than expected. Fearing they could overthrow him, Bertron began to ponder if he should destroy the kryptonians, but he was discovered and after his machine army was destroyed, he soon followed that fate. Now that Bertron was truly gone, the kryptonians constructed their own civilization and over the generations would go from interstellar explorer to self-centered hedonists. Eventually, they were almost rendered extinct when Krypton exploded (The planet's core was destroyed) and only a handful of survivors like Superman and Power Girl escaped, as well the kryptonians imprisoned in the ''Phantom Zone''. Decades later, Earth was invaded by the alien AI, Brainiac and he revealed that he was first created by Bertron as his assistant, but eventually betrayed his master by lying to the ancient kryptonians about Bertron's extermination plans. For generations, Brainiac administrated Krypton from the shadows and absorbed all the information he desired, until realizing that world had nothing more to offer and destroyed it to leave for new worlds.
