That's very nice, and I'm sure we aspiring artists have gone that way over time as well.

Reminds me when an artist I know got her first touch-pen and tablet. Β She was doodling, realized she had made a mistake, and without thinking, flipped the pen over and started to erase the problem.

And it worked. Β The program she was using recognized the other end of the pen as the 'erase' command, and did what she wanted it to without problems and by default.

The cap on this was after she erased the mistake, she blew on the tablet and wiped it off - she she would have if it was a real paper and pencil - to remove the eraser slivers. Β We all got a laugh out of that.

Set undo-function in your tablet pen if you got function keys.. practical.
Having another button to program save function macro.. fucking essential!!!!

12 years and a 1000 strips later and what character development have we seen; Kat has killed a demonic teacher from her past, Pip has learnt the horrid truth of Eastern anime adult entertainment, and scarlet entered their lives and discovered a larger world and introduced her sisters to it and ultimately learnt a valuable lesson about candy canes, and Art... Got a new digital writing pad.

...Out of all the characters I'd say scarlet has had the most development happen, learning about the world and regaining her "family" and intelligence, thought though all that means is her antics can cause more chaos with her creations. I could just complain (which would do zip) or I could take a couple of views on:

1). JollyJack , like anyone who has to balance in their life, must prioritise certain areas both inside and outside his work, and so a little lack of certain aspects whilst keeping a consistency his series overall is know for is appreciable.

2. I read the series The Boys, and of all the characters the only one that made it and survived physically and psychologically was Wee Hughie, and his triumph was not development as he was much the same at the end as the beginning more or less. Comparing the cast of sequential art, they have gone through and experience (some of which was real) would probably leave lesser people traumatized or make them go on adventures, instead choosing to remain in their "normal" lives rather than seek further adventures. Like Wee Hughie, this is their triumph.

Either way, I should not complain about what isn't there and focus on what is, and it is a charming sitcom with aspects of popular genra's thrown in for good measures (thought I could complain about about the update schedule, I just refer back to view 1.)

Ultimately I offer congratulations on how far the series has come and look forward to new crazy adventures in the future. Keep it up.

I've pretty much decided to stick mostly to digital art...for this very reason. I can do SO much more than with traditional tools...and I haven't yet been able to afford a program like Corel Painter or Photoshop. I'm just using Manga Studio 5. My gf is looking for money from a medical malpractice suit and says she'll buy me the software and a Cintiq.
