Yaaaay. Rockstar made a fun game!After the utter shite that was GTA4, I thought they'd forgotten that games were meant to entartain rather than frustrate.

i watched my friend knife fight a bear and win, the whole thing looked super fun and its funny to watch other people play

Took me ages to kill the bear.
First I had to spen 1/2 and hour FINDING one, and then when I had stabbed it once or twice, about 3 to 4 of his buddies had snuck up (or SPAWNED) behind be.

Trouble jumping of a one foot hill? My horse must have been a thrill seeker cause he jumped of a 100 foot cliff! Needless to say i rag dolled down the cliff and died.

The GTA4 wasn't to bad. My fav so far (as i haven't gotten this yet) is GTA San Andras.
Anyway, how terrible is the weapon selection function? Cuz usually they just have the left and right movement to select weapons.

The problem really stems from the active weapon changing OF ITS OWN ACCORD!

Im desperately waiting for this game to come out on PC, I dont have the newer platforms. Seems like the last two panels are small complaints - in fact I could say the same things about Fallout3 the first year I played it before I got game of the year edition, and thats one of if not the favorite game I own.

I personally felt abit dissapointed with the game mainly because of the lack of options of be a real outlaw in the game.. I mean if I want to play as a outlaw in the wild west then OFCOURSE I want to be able to rob trains of banks for money! (not just for idle killing)

True, One big thing I loved about the game is that it takes place in a time when there is NO F@cking cell phones and you have the choice of playing most the mini games when you want, which they are actually fun.

I'll never begrudge people or companies making a living but DLC is just short hand for half-finished games and it's only going to get worse.
On paper, DLC is a good idea - you get to add content to existing games but it's just an aberration because all it means is that we don't get a full game. Once upon a time an expansion meant you'd pay a reasonable price for a decent amount of new content. No longer. Along with increasingly invasive DRM, it just makes the gaming industry seem like... well - a pack of cunts and then they play the victim card when people pirate the games? Ignoring the fact that DRM means a good percentage of people who actually BOUGHT their games have to crack them to actually PLAY the game they paid for.
The more gaming production values increase, the more asinine the industry becomes. There is so little good to say of EA and Activision but then, people buy the generic games they pump out - you'll never go poor catering to the lowest common denominator.

My only complaint so far about the game is the fact I spent all this time lassoing people outside of Armadillo and droppin them on the tracks...and that dumb train never came :<
