The trouble with Trump is that he is a mass of contradictions - someone who polarizes peoples' views so that you either love him or loathe him with no one in between.
He is a man with the ability to run a vast business empire and yet doesn't have the wit to engage his brain before opening his mouth in front of the press. As such the world sees him as an embarrassing three-way cross between Boris Yeltsin, J. Danforth Quayle and Foghorn Leghorn.
History will record him either as an unexpectedly good (but not great) president, or as someone whose legacy will be future presidents spending decades struggling to get America out of the mire....

Everything he has, he inherited. Fred Trump set up the Trump Organisation, not Donald. By the time he got his little paws on it, it was large enough that it would have continued to expanded, regardless of who owned/controlled it. Donald is the definition of "the ideas guy": a person with no actual skill, who expects others to make whatever he says happen.
