Again, Jack does censorship better than some people do entire comics. His comics are accordingly also a step up.

I like to think that this censoring is just the canon version and that she just has a very weird perception of what she should do with her magic

That ending panel makes the hamster sound like a fan of WWE's Bayley with her entrance www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTDJKB⦠. I was reading that in WWE announcer Byron Saxon's voice [see YT link]
Excellent work, Jack.Β I bought this on Lulu, and as for the ACTUAL last panel of this comic, my Dad has made me immune to such awful jokes.Β That's the kind of groaner he'd love!

Not to mention it would probably have left an entire generation traumatised.
Must be the insane smile that reminded me of him though. o_O

Some say he was part of the Faustian pact forged by Noel Edmonds to have a TV career.

Alas, if only.
Mr Blobby was in fact a feature in the first Gotcha segments of Noel's House Party, but of course, by the end of the first season he'd been 'burnt' for that segment.Β Sadly, rather than being discarded, he became a fixed feature of the show from the second season onwards...
An interesting tid-bit: during those Gotcha segments, Noel Edmonds was Mr Blobby.Β Later on various crew members portrayed him instead.
Still, fame is ephemeral, and so too for Mr Blobby.Β From what I heard, the original costume was a latex one, and apparently it has since disintegrated in storage...

I remember. Christ, the 90s. That show had 166 episodes (and 17 specials).
Dark times.

It surely sounds that way, unless you consider the fact that it petered out around the time the first Endemol productions started dominating that timeslot.Β Given the choice between Noel's House Party and Big Brother...
...
... actually, I might turn of my telly.

Say what you will of the ubiquity of formulaic talent shows, they're preferable to that choice.
