This thing is super light weight, the wind blew it around while I was taking the pictures. It would be better to use 3 pieces of balsa, cut a channel in the middle piece and insert a wood yard stick to stiffen it all up.

I never worked with balsa wood before. I like it, but it's so light and frail it doesn't make for a good prop base.
