Description
In the relatively recent past, no more than forty years to be precise, a species known as the Clem invaded the system occupied by the Carsu. The Clem were technologically advanced, a little more so than the Celvan, but their enemies soon caught up and eventually beat them at their own game ... but that is another story. The primary combat craft of the Clem was the Celvan Furnaces manufactured modular space combat craft known as the DA-820 Dak.

Consisting of a single low-profile cockpit that could seat two persons, the ship had two outrigger arms onto which were affixed its propulsion and weapons systems. In this image we see a DA-820 fully kitted out with plasma cannons and torpedo mount housings. Capable of flight in space, atmosphere and with special adaption, subspace travel as well, it was extremely maneuverable and blindingly fast, which was its major advantage. The ship had defensive shielding as standard. Shown here in flight configuration without its modular additions.
