Last night my 30 gig iPod decided to deny me access to 3 gigs worth of songs which mysteriously vanished from my playlist. I fixed it, eventually, but it reaffirmed my belief that MP3 players suck. This is my second MP3 player in 2 months. And Ive only had my iPod for a week.

However. Like all best ideas, this event vore fruit to the answer to a dilemma I had been working on for a long time. In a sequence which sees Dinwyth and his compadres separated, they are hunted down by vicious pirates. Originally I had them marked as intelligent and cunning, but then I realised Dinwyth would have been killed in like 30 seconds. He's a dumbass. So they had to be dumb. But i didn't want them being your stereotypical hired goons. Then last night the i-Pod dilemma bore fruit to the i-Cod... a vicious and blood thirsty killer that comes at a high price. Unfortunately, the maniacal tyrant who created him (and wants Dinwyth and Co. dead) is vary fasionable, and prefers asthetics to practicality. So he designed his robot warriors to look all super cool and stylish, resulting in really shabby performance and cheap manufacturing. As a result, the misproportioned robots tned to fall over due to massive bodies and tiny waists and joints, forget what they're doing, accidentally delete their own prgramming and attack the nearest subject (in one case one of them is about to kill Dinwyth but forgets at the last second and attacks a frail old lady instead), and at worst, simply shut down for no apparant reason.

So it's a two prongued poke at i-Pods and big mech anima robots I guess.
