Description
Having managed to flee Earth and the clutches of a very different Starfleet, the crew of the Odyssey head out into the unknown.

Ensign Maloney has now assumed the role of chief engineer, he reports that during the Odyssey's escape she sustained heavy damage and recommends to Gaulway and the crew that they should find a safe haven to make repairs.

Marla searches the Alpha-Quadrant using a stolen astrometric database and discovers a planet in the Delphic Expanse. Gaulway gives the order to set course...

Upon arrival, the crew begin to set about making repairs to their ship.

Gaulway and Marla beam down to the surface of the planet only to learn of more mysteries attributed to being in this dark future.

Discovering a small abandoned settlement, Gaulway, Marla and the away team find themselves in an advanced Starfleet medical facility. Startled, Commander Drex, it's only occupant awakes from a similar cryo-sleep and explains the nature of the facility.

When Starfleet officers reach the age of forty, their minds are transferred into a host. A duplicate with increased strength, mental and telepathic abilities.
Marla learns that this is the exact opposite of the process that they all witnessed on Earth.

Something isn't right here however, the Odyssey's repairs are cut short when Joshua detects three Starfleet vessels arrive in orbit.

Gaulway manages to convince Drex to join the crew. It is clear that he has far more knowledge about this century then they ever would and more importantly, has information on how to evade the Starfleet.

Drex leads the Odyssey into a newly discovered wormhole, avoiding the Starfleet ships, the crew travel through the wormhole but where has Drex lead them?
