I think the black and white contrast works pretty well here, especially with the centre of the flower. It's a bit noisy, perhaps.. but then that also works with the piece in the sense that it accentuates the film-like quality.

I like the way things contrast, but I also feel that it could be made stronger through the lighting... but it's not bad as it is there.
