Description
The only time so far where I had to change the size of the canvas to accompany this taller but not necessarily longer animal.Carousel Boutique vector by (Size approximate since this is based on the one in Equestria, and the ponies are now, at least to my knowledge, half the size of an adult human).

Recently it's been decided that giraffes have long necks more as a look-out post than for grazing on treetops, as was originally suggested*. I wonder if the brachiosaurus had long necks for similar or different reasons... Might be that competition for food at the time meant that they ARE an example of a long-necks-for-high-food species!
(Sorry if you already knew all this, I think it's interesting zoology trivia and you've posted a zoology-focused pic!)
* Apparently they prefer eating from low shrubs, which should always have been a hint! Then people thought maybe lady giraffes were into long necks, but the evidence doesn't support that, either (if that were the cause, it should impact male giraffes disproportionately). Herd herbivores benefit a lot from their fantastic eyesight and being wary of their surroundings, though, plus being walking look-out posts means the giraffe herds can spread out and still keep track of each other, so I believe that's the leading theory so far.
