Shame that the girl on the left didn't put her arm on the other girl's arm to comfort her - that would be very emotional shot and showing the power of real friendship. But still really good shot!

Nice capture Jonathan. Did you ask them out for a drink after you took they're picture. You know to kind of boost the spirit. Just kidding. Again Nice capture

I think you've nailed this one, Jonathan I like the backlighting and the soft focus on this because it lends so much to the overall mood of the shot. Usually, things are slightly out of focus if you're in an emotional state; things are a bit fuzzy, they're a bit blurry because of the mindset and tears.
You've captured a story where you just have to use the imagination to figure out what is really the emotional content of the conversation...Lost her boyfriend and or girlfriend (we don't know, do we? ), someone died, lost a job, betrayed...But she has someone to talk it over with
Very good work, Jonathan Personally, I like the window pane. I think removing it would upset the scene. It helps define where they are (inside the coffeeshop) and gives the location for the light source. Maybe that's not right, but it's my opinion and you asked for it

You`re the "King of Comments" you know that John
You probably study other peoples shots here and see things that the shooter themselves never saw.
Thanks for the support and your insights as always my good pal

You captured the emotions well and the lighting works. I'd leave the window pane, since it reinforces your composition and keeps your background from being a nondescript wash of pure white. Nice one.

powerful piece Jonathan
i personally think you should leave the window in
as this is obviously taken in a caf'e you could blend in say a street scene with people walking past

I actually have almost the same shot with someone walking in the background and it`s a total distraction so I`m happy I took it again and waited till no one passed
