Really excellent capture, Jonathan All those lines leading you deeper into the shot are killer! Something that struck me was the way the pavers were laid so they form a straight line--what struck me about that was the thought that in the U.S. they would probably be laid the other way...across the frame from building to building breaking the parallel lines up rather than working with the vanishing point. I can't say for sure that would be the case as I've not done a lot of 'urban exploration' in big cities here prefering to stay out of them
It seems that whoever the architect or architects were that designed this area had art in mind as well as function. Which I like. I say if you gotta love in a city then you might as well admire the surroundings
I also like that central open gutter--something else you might not see in the U.S.. I have to believe that here it would be covered for fear of someone stepping off into it and twisting an ankle or breaking a leg and then the lawsuits would fly like seagulls around a landfill
I always look forward to seeing what visions and delights your forays into the Big C produce, brother Well done!

Excellent brother, thank you for your always insightful and interesting visions on things
I agree with what you say and there are more and more fascinating buildings popping up in London every year.
I`m not quite sure what the purpose of that gutter is here,it might actually lead back to a water feature in the distance there, thank you always John! Have a good one today!

I've called a lovely lady Jose, called Jose Patrick, replied to myself, and God knows what else this week
I need this vacation. I've always been spacey
but not this bad
I'll try to do another when I get back or just before I go.

Amazing shot as always Jon!
You have a good week too man!
You use a tripod most times don't you Jon? I just always seem to have a vision of you with 1. Your shots are always very neat and carefully planned while shot at the perfect time. Like you sit and wait for that perfect moment.

Thank you big JoE!
I`ve never took a Tripod into the City yet Joe,mainly because I only have a cheap one and even more mainly because it would piss me off carrying it about everywhere
But once I invest in a much better quality one,I know I`ll use and abuse it more

Oh cool. Mine isn't that good either but I never use it either. I always think about someone walking past and kicking a leg on the way by I sure don't need that.
Would love to try some shots sometime though. It could sure make a difference in some shots when the lighting isn't the best.

I`ve never used a HQ one, with a proper ball and swivel head and all the gimmicks and to be nice and light, but strong and portable....I think it would make a great difference Joe

This is mine. Not sure what's good or bad but I heard its an OK 1. I suppose the ski's the limit for spending but it was $100 or so [link]
Its nice and light actually and I use a rock climbing powder bag for carrying my lens so its a lot easier than bag and all and I have even tucked the tripod leg into the strap and hiked in the mountains. The powder bag is excellent and will close too with a string so around lakes it won't fall out. It acts like a holster for super ninja speed changing lenses

Haha! Did you try hanging some weight on it? They say even your camera bag will help and you can even put something in it. Like weight it down with all your money

My Money couldn`t hold a balloon down, let alone that
I haven`t btw,but I probably won`t use it again now,will wait till I $plash the cash on a far better one
This is basically the one I got [link] |category_root|Photography|14419436/c_2/2|14419436|Camera+bags+and+accessories|30151794/c_3/3|cat_30151794|Tripods|30152066.htm

The link broke but I fixed it
I bet though if you hang some weight on that hook it will be a whold different animal. Just something to try.
I'd like a better 1 too but will be sticking with what I have for now. Best of luck with the new one!
