Description
Pencil on paperDrawing of my girlfriend throwing her hair back out of the water to form a Fibonacci spiral
This drawing taught me allot about patience. It took around 280 intense hours over 5 months
After this drawing a slight obsession with the Fibonacci spiral was awakened.
I hope you enjoy it...

I wrote my extended essay about the logarithmic (and Fibonacci) spiral. It is always so great to see art connected to it!

Even though you said it was pencil on paper I still struggle to believe it isn't a photograph... This is amazing!!

So fantastically photorealistic. Really admire your patience and attention to detail! Can't believe it's a drawing. I thought it was a photo and was impressed by the "capture", and then to find out it's a drawing!? Wow. Congratulations on the well-deserved DD!

.... I'm completely blown away... I was trying to figure out how you took this picture for about 5 minutes before scrolling down and realizing it was a drawing. I kept on reading the description and realized its your girlfriend (I did not notice her at all at first which made me wonder how you got the water to splash up like that...). Too bad that the water is cut of like that though since the rest of it is simply jaw dropping!

...if it weren't for dA featuring you on their facebook page, I would have been 100% sure that this was either stolen or a photograph... (I have seen too many art thefts here, I think ._.)
That's just too amazing to be a drawing!
You, sir, are one of the most talented artists I know and you are the evidence that everyone can become an amazing artist, if they just want to.
Kudos to you!
