Here is a zoom in area of a possible farming community. I was enlightened that in a mid-evil like world there wouldn't really be strait lines for the roads in rural areas like this and the roads would move in their own way. Further more I imagine that the actual towns would be build around where roads would intersect while the farm lands would b e further away to give the farmers more space to work.
