Description
A Pixar "Cars" playset ("Luigi's Casa Della Tires") transformed into a post-apocalyptic wayside outpost (for some games of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare). The guardrails visible in the foreground are salvaged from the playset interior (originally, the ceiling/roof could flip out and make a sort of "playset-within-a-playset" of a short stretch of winding road with guardrails and pylons).

For the billboard out front, I used an old O-scale Lionel piece, but replaced the insert with something Fallout-themed: a reimagined advertisement for "Captain Cosmos" as illustrated by Herckeim (www.deviantart.com/herckeim/ar… ). I just added the little rocketship up top as a "3D pop-out" element for the fun of it.
