A complete set of plastic playing pieces for the Avalon Hill "Robo Rally" board game, to represent the crazy little robots that run rampant around the factory floor, avoiding slicing lasers, hydraulic stompers, disposal pits -- and each other. I love this board game, even though I haven't the knack for actually *winning* it. (My dad is actually far better at it.)

I learned via a prior ill-fated experiment that the plastic used for the playing pieces in this set DOES NOT react well to spray-painted base coat, so I started by brushing on white acrylic as a base, then start applying washes, dry-brushing, and detail work from there, with a final protective coat of clear brush-on acrylic sealer. I left the bases themselves bare plastic, with the original pseudo-metallic grey look.

The scenery is made from Hirst Arts Castlemolds casting blocks (using Hydrocal), cast and assembled by Digital_Rampage.
