I Have been thinking about doing this piece for a while, so i finely got around to doing it!Wow, what a surprise! Thanks to everyone that made my first DD possible! I am so honored!

The technique is great and the color choice is very well-balanced, but I must agree with ~Koljarn here. Despite popular opinion among some artists, females do have a spine and no, it cannot rotate 180 degrees. Unless, of course, it's done by physical harm, which, however, doesn't seem to be the case. Claiming she's undead probably won't work, either. It's a pity, because instead of enjoying a great painting with a very well captured female character, all I can think of is "ouch!" :/

You are ridiculous. This is like a 40ΒΊ twist, not nearly 180ΒΊ. I can personally rotate my shoulders about 90ΒΊ without my lower half moving, and more if I "throw" my body, which is valuable for dynamic poses. Go do some figure drawing or something.

No mister, you are ridiculous. It was obviously exaggerated just to point out the problem with female fantasy pictures these days. And I'd really like to see you try to do a pose like this with your body, good luck with the spinal physician too though.
What I can't get is why do you even react? Don't you think people put their pictures on online galleries to have people give their opinions about the work, especially when it was politely given?
I think the author can decide whether it was rightful or not and doesn't need your "help", especially where you have to be instantly aggressive and kick people's butts just because you don't like their opinion.
Just because somebody didn't blindly say DAWWWWWWWWW SO AMAZING ZOMG ZOMG on something you like.

180 degrees? really??? I see this kind of pose in the fashion/portrait shoots all the time. You don't have to be undead to do it.
Spot on piece of work, its just a shame some people can't suspend disbelief for the sake of art. Especially given that is FANTASY!

In that case, you either need to improve your vision or you happen to ogle photoshopped/anatomicaly disfigured models. Because I guarantee you that there is no way to bend your back like that while having your right hip oustretched this far from your body, at least no way not leading to mutilation.
Also, "it's a fantasy" is a very lame excuse. So if a piece of fanart is for a fantasy/science fiction, it doesn't have to follow basic anatomy rules? Wow, that's... kinda sad.
And I'm frankly kind of sick of women being changed from a character to a sexual object, with every second comic panel and pop art piece having to showcase their breasts/bottom (preferably BOTH at the same time) as if a female's nothing more than walking pair of boobs stuck on an ass (and sometimes legs). And I see it as an equal shame that such a spot on piece of art has to stoop to techniques like that.
By the way, the comment was not meant for you to start a flamewar on, but for ~NadrojWobrek as a note that was trying to be constructive. I see no reason for you to meddle in this.

I agree with you, both on the part about the anatomy and on the part about females being changed into sexual objects.
I don't think I've ever seen a picture on this site of a "female warrior" in which the breasts and butt aren't hanging out for everyone to see. Seriously, if I was going into battle I would NOT want my entire midriff, butt, and boobs exposed. What the hell's the point of putting armor on your arms and legs if all your vital organs are completely exposed?! Guys wont be "painting the screen" to the image of that chick once she's been completely disemboweled thanks to her pointless armor.
That being said, I know it's just a picture and it is fantasy. This piece of art is very well done, even if the issue of the armor does really irk me.

The technique in this piece is impeccable, and I love the atmosphere. It's an overall beautiful picture, but that highly unnatural pose (just to showcase her tits and ass at the same time) kinda ruins it. Just because she's undead doesn't mean her spine aren't functioning as usual.
Like, this could just be a pic of Sylvanas looking badass as hell, she's an amazing character. But you had to make it about the booty
