Description
A teaser and work in progress of a new creature for the xps/xna world, and that is, the Ferox >:3True, it's just recent of the new expansion, and this new creature is indeed interesting, scurries around as a tiny little furball, but once it eats element, it will grow in size and becomes savage and dangerous, yet useful once tamed, they come in various colors, but I'd be surprised if one ferox resembles Gnar from League of Legends of the fur coloring
-----
It is tricky and risky to tame these creatures if you want to tame them passively, yet some do transform into their mega forms without the use of element, as part of being angry and not getting element from you, they can be tamed via knockouts as well and fed with mejoberries in their mini forms, there has never been an attempt to knockout a ferox in their mega forms
There are two locations known of finding these critters, one in the blizzard mountains, the other within the polar bear caverns, yet finding them in these areas are dangerous as other creatures will often eat them and you, yet the feroxes in the polar bear caverns have been spared by the polar bears as if a truce and the bears focus on you entirely since they are a dungeon type of creature, and the bears do pack a serious punch in their attacks
Those wanting to tame passively of these fellas must build a roof pen and must bring the wild ferox via flyer carrying them, be sure to drop them by the pen with the doors opened, and then lure/guide the ferox with element in your pocket, once you fed it, you got a small time window to rush out the pen and close the doors, and finally, wait it out as the mega ferox will rampage in the pen, trying to get out and get you, as before, build a roofed pen as the mega ferox will jump out easily, they do have a time limit in their mega forms before they revert back to mini form, and may have to feed it more element to tame, but one element is enough on some depending on the levels, once fully tamed, they are your fellow companions, with a monstrous side and power
Tamed feroxes provide you a bit of warmth due to their fur, in mini form, they sit on your shoulder, and they can sniff out element dust for you to collect, if you have element in your pocket, they will follow you no matter the stay put command unless you hitch them by a hitching post, and they hop and beg for you to give them element, but this occurs after you put the element in your hotbar, once it's set, they sniff before sneezing and then rush to you, don't worry, they won't transform until you fed them element, in mega form, their stats change greatly and you can ride on their shoulders, and they run faster, jump further after each hop, scale on steep cliffs and walls, throw rocks to inflict serious damage then their teeth and claws, this form lasts for 10-20 minutes, depending on the amount of element it was fed, fair warning that the transformation shortens slowly after feeding it element to remain in mega form a bit longer without the transformation expiring too soon, once expired, it will revert back to their mini form
Element is a rare tek resources that can be made via tek work, fair warning, once the ferox returns to mini form, the requirement of element to turn them back in their mega forms increases, but it will decrease over time, and why you ask, well, they are addicted to element, once at 100% their stats are enhanced, increased movement speed, increased attack speed and damage, least they don't turn on you, I hope, but, this also allows them being able to breed so you can create an army of feroxes, yet you will lose a lot of element if you try to make them mega feroxes, and breeding them only works in their mini forms, so you may have to wait it out of a mega ferox turning back to mini ferox, depending of how much element you fed them to gain 100% addiction status, BUT, this max addiction breeding function works only on female feroxes, no need to waste any element on males for breeding
Fun fact, they eat berries and meat in different forms, berries in mini form, meat in mega form, and remember, element is their transformation and stats buff food, so best to try and save that up if you intend to power level your low level feroxes, and baby feroxes are so cute, and they do not transform if they need element as a treat when they want your care during their growth cycle, and taming a ferox knocked out is fast and easy, but be sure no dangerous creatures are around as they will attack the knocked out ferox as dinner, along with you as dessert, and wild mini feroxes will often run towards you with or without element before running away, but be careful, they will transform into their mega forms randomly when standing by or near you, it's often common of a mini ferox turn mega and maul you to get the element out of your pockets you may have, or may not have
-----
I may have to do some editing and rerigging to give both mini and mega feroxes smoother movements as the mega ferox's upper shoulders often distort, but once finished, a package will soon be ready, unsure when exactly, so best to wait ^w^

If you're able to rip the new TEK suit seen in the end credits, that'd be pretty sick
