Superduck was an actual comic. he wpuld take powerpills.
Eventually DC got on their high horse about "copyright imfrimgement" * and tho Superduck retained the codename, he became just a domestic comedy klunk, with a naughty nephew . Thatr's how I remember the guy.
* Fox comics had WonderMan and Fawcett had MarvelMan. I am NOT sure about the name of Fawcett's 6 issue hero. The info was in Steranko;s 2 volume series, but I lost my temper trying to find the book ! Both heroes got sued out , but capt marvel lasted over 10 years.

The last season of AATC tossed the carefully built up headcanon and had the munks act out movies. I stopped watching after 2 episodes and played my tapes of old AATC shows instead.Β
NBC had one more season of sat morn cartoons -and then scrapped all the shows...Β

i watch all those awesome chipmunks do the movies cartoons, they were brilliant, fave episodes were splosh, batmunk, robomunk, these are all on dvd i hope, i'd watch them all over and over again, i'm shocked that any tv company in any part of the world could scrap such awesome cartoons, even chipmunks ones, & learning of this type of NEWSFLASH!, it'll make feel sad for the rest of my life!

A wide spectrum of tastes. I walked away from the Chipmunks after but the first 2 episodes of the last season. I played my recordings of past episodes instead. The show had ditched its carefully built up headcanon.
I judged the epic feature movie CHIPMUNK ADVENTURE as the grand finale of the series. I do NOT understand why Leonard MaltinΒ never reviewed it.Β

everyone has tastes, everyone has opinions, i love the chipmunks cartoons, but, people in your shoes have to understand, the only chipmunks that weren't trouble-makers were in my mind Simon and Theodore (and their female counterparts, i.e. Jeanette and Eleanor) and i will search for all dvds of chipmunks cartoons that exist.....ever. and i'll kiss them forever.

Simon does not have the strength to STOP Alvin.
In "Chipmunk Adventure" , he refused to help Alvin call up Dave (in Europe) (and by splicing & editing, create a tape with Dave's voice, asking Ms.Miller to send the boys to meet him in Europe), but did not stop him from the outrageous deception. As the trio headed to the Fursteins' manse to begin the Hot Air balloon race around the world, Simon told Alvin "I'm only along to make sure you don't get into TOO much trouble !".
All went well until the two trios met in Athens (and almost were discovered by Dave), then, after they continued on their separate routes, things went awry.
Theodore is immature and easily misled by Alvin. He enjoys eatng and cooking for both himself & others.Β

so true, a true fan of the chipmunks with that adventure on vcr, but hasn't watched it in a good while is thankful for that great mind-jogging Synopsis of that adventure.
