Coincidentally, I've just watched a few Casper cartoons from the 40's a few days ago. And I gotta say... Man, those cartoons were so dull and boring, EVEN without being compared to the Looney Tunes or the Classic Disney Shorts.

"wantobemyfriend" is from the earliest cartoons, which were pointless and the afterlife reference is from the Speilberg movies and cartoons. I had no problem with the latter and watched many of them. I recall one where he disguised himself as a human,learning to walk like one, and had no problem - until he was run over !

Part of a new fan-fic with Casper is in progress, GRADUATION DAY , with two very strange characters ,somebody else's creation and the sanity of that somebody is questionable, latching onto Casper for very strange reasons. He's not in DevArt: he violates their standards. Now it's Casper's turn to yell and run !
