he may wear orange but he managed to avoid anbu after painting the hokage monument while wearing the orange and blue combi. besides he likely didn't get a suit in black due to his status as 'the demon child'

BD & Decoy talk about Naruto-Kun's choice in wardrobe... I guess they've never met Mai Shiranui, or for that matter Hayate Musashi a.k.a. Shinobi. the former wears red...if you can call what she's got "wearing anything at all" (not that I'm complaining ;] ); the latter white & red, which would be good only for like snowy regions. oh well, to each their own, right!

In some comics, Batman had commented he did Robin disguise this colorful so he could be a calming presence for civilians. Batman can't comfort a scared kid, or be too friendly with a person they need information from; Robin, on the other hand, can and does it.

Yeah. Batman is a scary presence, and that helps him a lot to deal with criminals, but when he has to interact with civilians, this can work against him, especially if he needs to rescue them at that moment; you can't trust a person to save you if you're afraid of him, and you might panic at the worst moment, risking your life and your rescuer's. With Robin around, you know Batman is scary but still a good guy because otherwise he wouldn't work with a kid.
