Nick groans and walks to his corner, shaking his head, while Chuckie returns to his corner in a calm manner.
As Nick gets attended by his assistants, he frowns when looking at Angelica attending Chuckie at the opposite corner. Β Looking at such a beautiful woman focusing on a man that isn't him is getting on Nick's nerves.

"And that ends the round and Nick does not look happy. As we wait for the bell, we have another special guest Cindy Vortex! What are your thoughts on the match so far?"
(Has Nick fought Jimmy? Who won, I can see that going either way. )

(Nope, not fighting Jimmy yet.)
"Looking good so far for both boxers, but I'd say that Nick's not mentally ready for this. I've fought and bested him twice, and let me tell you, he wasn't ready for any woman not falling for his looks; that kinda helped me to pummel him." Cindy chuckles for a bit before getting serious again. Β "Anyway, basically, much of Nick's confidence comes from satisfying his ego, and seeing that Chuckie, his rival in this fight, also has a woman that isn't impressed by his looks, Nick is gonna start losing his nerves and overcompensating to satisfy his ego... Like right now."
In the ring, Nick does some flexing to get his female fans to cheer louder for him.

"It does appear like that. Aside from that what about skill-wise
how do you see this match going?"

"I'll put it plain and simple; Nick's good, but Chuckie's better. In. Every. Aspect. Strength, skill, speed, smarts... you name it, Chuckie outmatches him."

"If I got a dollar for everytime, I heard that exact statement in
regards to Chuckie and his opponents. I'd be able to start my own
league. Still the bell is about to ring and the action is going to start up
again, can Nick turn this around?"

"I doubt it, but it will be interesting to see the beating." Cindy shrugs as she watches as well.

"And round 3 is underway."

Nick wastes no time and charges at Chuckie, trying to take him to a corner early on the round, but the champ receives him with quick body shots, stopping Nick and forcing him back to ring center.

"And Nick goes hard only for the champ to stop him dead in his tracks!"

Nick starts countering again, going for quick, hard combos to stop Chuckie's advance. The champ blocks most yet gets defensive now.

"Nick tries to defend with counterattacks, but Chuckie blocks and pushes him back!"

Nick goes for a very hard, furious barrage, trying to hurt Chuckie despite the block. Chuckie receives a few hits but then surprises Nick with a quick dodge followed by three quick head jabs, cutting Nick's attack for the time being.

"Nick manages to land a few strong blows but is forced back by some head jabs from the champ."

Chuckie advances, continuing with the quick head shots. Nick continues blocking or dodging most but Chuckie's attack isn't giving him any chances for a counter.

"Chuckie lays into Nick not giving him a second to counter or fight back."
Chuckies fans cheer louder, while Nick's (especially the girls) cheer for him to fight back!"

Nick does try to fight back, and actually connects some good body punches, but Chuckie insists on attacking Nick's head. The brunette groans and tries to block or counter but Chuckie's strategy is working, as he's hurting Nick much more than Nick's doing with the champ.Β
At Chuckie's corner, Angelica starts encouraging the crowd to cheer louder for Chuckie, and soon the champ's fans are out-cheering Nick's.

"Oooo, Chuckie is really aiming for the head and his fans are getting
Louder."

Cindy looks at this and nods, grinning.
"Told you; Nick is used to protect his head, and does it well most of the time, but Chuckie is connecting too many head and face shots, and Nick is really resenting it."

Chuckie, however, blocks the hooks and counters with a powerful right cross that stuns Nick before leaving him breathless with a left body hook. Then Chuckie takes him down with a 1-2 combo to the head.
Nick groans, covering his VERY aching face for a few seconds before standing back in 9

"And Nick goes down and looks to be lamemting the abuse his face is taking. Can he fight back?"
Nick goes defensive guarding his face as he circled Chuckie.

Chuckie uses this chance to pummel his body multiple times. Nick groans and tries to counter, but Chuckie keeps dodging and countering with body strikes, as Nick still doesn't want to expose his face.

"The champ is laying into that body without much resistance from Nick."
Nick desperately swimgs an uppercut at Chuckie to try and tag him.

Chuckie dodges so he avoids most of the punch's force. He still receives a bit, giving Nick a chance to recover.
Nick then charges again with some quick body and head hooks, with Chuckie now fully defensive, until he sees an opening and hits Nick's face at full force with a straight left.

Chuckie cuts the distance and uppercuts him again, Nick only staying on his feet because the ropes stop him. Then the redhead starts using him as a punching bag.

"And with a Thunderous uppercut Chuckie sends Nick Dean to the ropes. And pins him to the ropes with a series of jabs."
WAP-WAP-WAP
"Ugh-agh-gah!!" Nick grunts as he takes the face jabs

Finally, after receiving several shots, Nick yells for the towel. His ring assistants hesitate but they realize Nick is really outmatched here, so they throw the towel.. and he grabs it to cover his face.
"Uh... I think you're supposed to let the towel fall to the canvas..."
"I must protect my face... Nobody can see my handsomeness damaged!!"

"And Nick Dean has thrown in the towel!!! WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION CHUCKIE!!!"
The audience cheers as the bell rings and the camera flashes

Chuckie shrugs, taking the victory (bizarre as it was) and smiles at the crowd. Angelica, from ringside, tells him to do a muscle pose; when he does, pretty much all of Nick's former female fans go crazy.
"He's the real man in that ring!!" A fan cheers.
"Nick was nothing; what were we thinking?" Another fan comments.
Angelica then enters the ring to kiss her husband, both to congratulate him and to stop the girls from throwing their bras to the ring.

"Quite the reception for another victory for the champ. Will Nick ever recover this loss? Only time will tell. Until next time."

Heh, only if he trains hard enough to be confident on facing Chuckie again, or if he gets over his vanity.

Don't see him getting over his vanity, but he would up his training and get stronger. If anything it will make him more cocky.
"Thanks to you I'm even better than before. I'm even more deserving of the title now with my new strength and bod." Nick says flexing his bicep.

"Hey, that's good. I wasn't totally satisfied with the other win; I was sure you'd have done better." Chuckie just shrugs, totally casual. Nick is about to snap at him but then notices Chuckie has grown much stronger too.

"Heh, I'll be more than better. I bet I can take you down in 4 rounds." Nick says trying to keep his confidence flexing his chest at Chuckie.

"Mmmm... I don't like gambling, but let's see how confident you feel after round 4." Chuckie taps gloves with Nick.Β
Nick tries to tap hard to make Chuckie to wince, but the redhead barely feels it.

The main problem is that Nick, unlike Johnny, has real luck with the ladies, so he can justify his ego to an extent.Β
