5 years passed, 5 years where Shenzi is an example citizent behind bars, her time for release is today, and out she goes, with a bag full of her personal belongings and clothes a bunch of ugly and nasty memories from the place and a new reformed attidute...or was she?Β
I was intent on finding out if prison had changed her a bit, any bit towards the best, therefore I followed her, became her shadow, wanting to know if she had changed.Β

Shenzi doesn't notice him, as she continues walking and looking for a job.

We arrive in the Metro station, she is standing on the top of the line, I am standing behind the escalator, hidden by her view, uberstknown to both of us, a teary faced woman standing on the edge.
We pay no attention to her, nor can we hear her words but here are they...
"Why is the world such a cold and lonely place?
Why is life so utterly filled with pain in every step?
Why we live in a society where humans are stranger to one another?
WHY DID YOU LEFT ME NICK!!?"Β
And with the last scream she leaps on the tracks, trying to end her life. I immediately try to get to edge of the platform. Every Metro station has two red buttons stationed at the edge of the platforms accompanied by a telephone, they are used to halt the electricity on the conductors and stop the train, giving the person enough time to get back with the help of bystanders...I hear the conductor approaching, oh God, hope I can press the button in time!Β

Shenzi, however, reacts faster, and jumps next to the woman, carrying her and jumping out of the train's path barely on time.

I could not believe my eyes, Shenzi saved another person! She saved another person, the woman was still shocked from the ordeal, crying, only thanking the hyena with her eyes, the populus immediately hie to the poor girl's side, leaving Shenzi to the side...which vanished again in the midst of the night, going out of the Metro station and deciding to walking to whenever she was walking by foot.
I had to follow her, I still...I did not know at that point... a car stopped at her direction in a dark alley, outside of it Toucan Dan and Kongo Quill are out of it....what those two scumbags doing there?Β

Quill- Yes, we heard you are getting out today, and we thought to greet you, with a proposal. Β *smirks*
TD- There is a trick, BIG trick going down the National Bank by the end of the month.
CQ- And we need some muscle here, what say you? We have thought of everything, we get in, we take the quids, we get out, we are rich!
TD-So what say you? We have a whole bunch of other people on it already.Β

Both-WAIT!! *They say with a smirk as they approach her* "Sorry gal, this is one of those cases that when you are not with us, you kinda are against us..." *Congo pulls out some iron knuckles and Dan whistles and 5 other shadowy figures appear to surround her.*
"So, sorry, can't let you risk snitching us to the coppers." *they grin and approach her...*Β

Shenzi actually grins a bit... and then gives the gang a very one-sided beating, leaving them badly injured.

The beating would be continued up until police sirens are heard in the distance! I have made my mind, my next course of action is decided..I charge at Shenzi and grabbing her by the wrist I beckon her to follow me where she and I run off of the cops, hiding in some dark alleys behind a dumpster.

Shenzi doesn't object, knowing that a street fight would get her jailed again.

I await till the sirens and the cops pass, taking those miscreants behind bars, where they belong.
After the storm has pass I and Shenzi go out of our hideout. "Clear!"Β

"Okay, thanks for the help... but why are you helping me? And how did you appear Β right when I needed help?"

"Shenzi, I..knew you would be released today, and I wanted to make sure, to make sure that..." I hear footsteps and yelling of the officers, without much time to loose I grab her by the face and plant a kiss on her lips, thankfully I am taller than her and I cover her body, the police just ignore us.Β

The cops had left, but the kiss...the kiss lasted a good couple of seconds...

The next thing we know is that we are in my house in front of two bowls of hot soup.

The silence is deafening for some moments. "So..." I say "You have come a long way Shenzi...from an almost pedokiller you are a savior of your fellow human being, a model citizen and someone who did not succumb into temptation...sorry, should have not brought this up!" I blush a bit.
