Scamp smiled and gave Marie a friendly nuzzle. "So, then, maybe we could hang out sometime and you could shoe me stuff that you like, and I could show you what I like. Would that be cool and okay with you? I promise not to anything that would embarrass you or make you look bad. I will be a good friend."

"Okay. Just let me know when you would be free, and I will of somethings that we can do." Scamp was starting to see that Marie had a nice side to her.

"Mmm... I think I have a free schedule this weekend. " Marie nods, making a few mental notes.

"Well, I would like to take you out to a nice dinner--and I do not mean any kind of back alley, either. A place where fresh food is served and we can dine in an relaxing atmosphere, and then just see where the night takes us, What do you say?"

Scamp was showing that he really wanted Marie and himself to have a really nice night. He gave her a nuzzle to her cheek. "Let's make our way to the restaurant."

Scamp started murr happily the feeling of her tail. "Y-You really have a nice soft tail, Marie. Felt really nice." As they get near the restaurant, he gave her a lick to the cheek, but not one that would muss up her fur. He was hoping she wouldn't mind.

"Glad you like..." Marie giggles a bit with the licking. "That felt good too."

"When we get to the restaurant, you can order anything you like...and even dessert if you want to. " He smiled at her as the restaurant came into view. He made his way to the door and held it open for her.

The greeter, Lucky the dalmatian, smiled at them both. "I have a table ready for the both of you. I think you make a lovely couple."Β

Marie and Scamp blush yet nod, smiling and going with Lucky now.

Lucky leads them to a table that is a little private yet is in a really nice part of the restaurant. He gives them both a menu.Β
"Would you like to start of with something drink?"
Scamp smiles. "You can go first, Marie."

"Thanks. Mm... I'll have today's special, please."
The day's special, in drinks, is a fruit punch.

Lucky smiles. One fruit punch....that is our special, and for you, sir?"
Scamp smiles. "i'll have today's special myself."

They get their drinks while checking on the menu, still making their selection.
Marie smiles when realizing they have a good selection of sea food.

Scamp, not realizing that Marie was looking at the seafood, spoke up. "You know, they have a nice selection of seafood, and they make it just the way you want. But you can order anything you want, Marie. "

"Thanks, I'm already checking it.. And how did you know that I like seafood?" Marie arches an eyebrow.

"I didn't know that you did, really and I am being very honest. If there is something you like in the seafood, you can order that. It was only just suggestion. You can really order anything you want. I'm still scanning the menu myself."
Tod, who was a waiter on this restaurant, came up to their table. "Any idea on what you would like to order?"

"The seafood special for me, please." Marie smiles, then turns at Scamp. "And well, I'm a cat, and all cats like seafood."

"i didn't know you liked seafood, and I didn't know that about cats. Like, it never came up in the conversations we have had. But it's all cool." He looked at the menu and thought for a couple of minutes and then he got a smile on his face. "I would like the steak and shrimp, please. Well done on the steak, please."

The waiter nods and leaves to bring the food.
"Heh, well, it's something ironic about us cats; we don't like to get soaked, but we love eating fish." Marie smiles.

"That's something I have often wondered about cats, nut I find it rather interesting. With me, I will do whatever I could to keep you from getting wet. If I saw water coming towards us, I would get you out of the way, I would get soaked just to keep you nice and dry. "

"Aw, that's very nice. And well, guess it's an instinctive thing about us." Marie shrugs.

"I was wondering, after dinner, would like to have a nice long walk in the park tonight? It's really pleasant out and I thought we could sit under the moonlight and just enjoy some fresh night air. I see how the moonlight reflects off your beautiful fur...makesΒ you seem more beautiful." Scamp meant every word he said...he was falling in love with her.

I want to understand how felines think, understand what they like and don't like, and I learned how to treat cats with kindness, understanding and show that cats and dogs can be together and have a very nice time.Β So, I care about you very much, and enjoy our time together>
Todd brings out their food prepared the way it should be.Β "If there is anything else you, don't hesitate to ask and please enjoy your dinner."
