She had to fight three because, separately, she'd have defeated each in 10 seconds or less.

Spike- Mmm… hard to tell the record, since they'd lived for several centuries; sometimes they spent decades without fighting, and later had fights very often. As for styles, they're very adaptive; being alicorns, they have an earth pony's raw strength, a pegasus' speed and agility, and an unicorn's magical power; of course, they don't use magic when fighting, but you know a good spell caster also has great concentration and creativity.

Spike nods and starts throwing some quick combos; again, nothing too hard. Even the hits that connect don't hurt more than being hit by a pillow.

Spike still connects some hits; not too many but still, it shows his speed has improved too.

Due to Spike's tough scales, he's a perfect sparring partner to practice the combos, as he can take much more hits than most boxers.
