Aang- Well, she's human, but a 'meta' human; a person with super powers. In my world, many people are born with the ability to bend some element, and depending on the element you control, your body adapts to it. Earth benders have solid, very resistant bodies due to the training they have to endure to control their element.

Aang- Yes, you'd need an equally resistant body, or to be fast enough to dodge and block her.

Aang- I can spar with her because I'm an air bender and therefore I'm very agile and fast... but my punching isn't that hard so I don't make that much damage to her when hitting.

Aang *chuckles* I've won some fights because the opponent gets too desperate for not catching me, and does illegal stuff to catch me, so they get disqualified or lose points.
