lol, I often wondered why Launch Pad traded careers from piloting for Scrooge to becoming Darkwing's sidekick

Yep; besides, LP is now living at the Mallards' place so no longer sleeps in the hangar.

I liked the Darkwing Duck episodes. It was quite an original series - especially from Disney.

Yeah; it was like, Duck Tales mixed with classic Looney Tunes.

Defiantly had a 'dark' feeling in it, but held a light humor to it too

I'm reminded of a part in ch. 9 of "The Life And Times Of Scrooge McDuck, after he finds his first riches and returns to Dismal Downs, only to leave shortly after with his sisters. He asks Scottie McTerrier if he would like to be the caretaker for Castle McDuck, and he replied, "Live in this historic castle? Yes, Mr McDuck! Even for what you'd pay!"

Hahaha... yeah, Scrooge is an old cheapskate but a lovable one.

His heart's in the right place, for the select few who can dig that deep. Huey Dewey and Louie, his sister, Matilda, Donald(at times), and a few others know that. On a more personal level, I'm sure Brigitta McBridge and Goldie O'Gilt also know it.

Yep; that's why he's one of the most loved Disney ducks.

Of course he retired once Donald came back from his solider days to pick up his nephew. Webby though, stayed with Uncle Scrooge.
